For those who may not be able to get approval for a standard credit card, a prepaid card like this one from New Millennium Bank can sometimes be the answer. Cardholders make payments to the card through account transfers, mailed checks, or at authorized load stations which are then used towards future purchases made with the card. It is important to note that this card will not help those with poor or little credit history build their credit as it does not report payments and transactions to credit bureaus. Additionally, the card has a few fees associated with it including an activation fee, monthly participation fees and reloading fees.
