Bank of America's Financial Rewards Visa Platinum Plus card operates on a point system. Cardholders receive five bonus points after their first purchase and an additional five once they reach a certain level in spending. Cardholders can earn points on their own by accumulating one point for every $100 spent on the card each billing cycle. Points are awarded in 25-point increments, and cardholders can earn up to 600 points -- the equivalent of $600 -- each year.
Cardholders will also enjoy the lack of an annual fee and a low introductory rate, plus online banking access and Total Security Protection.
