Chances are good that if you're a student you don't have much of a credit history, and that's why the Discover Student Clear Card can be a good choice. The card can allow students to build up credit in a secure environment. Students can enjoy rewards on everyday purchases of 1% cash back, as well as 5% back at changing categories like bookstores, home improvement stores, gasoline stations, and restaurants. There is no annual fee for the card, and rewards won't expire as long as the card remains in use. Cardholders will also have the option of doubling their cash back when they use it towards gift cards and certificates. If cardholders do opt to receive cash back, they can be given the bonus by check, electronic deposit to any account, or as a credit to their Discover Card Account making it a versatile way to enjoy credit card rewards.
