For those who love to travel, The Delta SkyMiles Gold Credit Card from American Express can be a great way to earn rewards doing it. As a bonus for the first purchase made on the card, cardholders will receive 15,000 bonus SkyMiles. An additional bonus of 2,500 is available to cardholders who add another authorized cardholder to their account, which can be a great deal for couples. In general, SkyMiles are accrued at a rate of one per dollar spent, but cardholders can get double points for almost any purchases made at grocery stores, drugstores, gas stations, home improvement stores, the US Post Office, or wireless bills. Double points are also given on any purchase made with Delta. The Delta SkyMiles card has no annual fee for the first year, but does have a small annual fee after that, but cardholders don't have to rush to use their points, as they don't expire.
