During the first six months the rewards program gives cardholders a little extra bonus, with 5% being earned on all purchases made at supermarkets, drugstores and on utilities and cable. After the first six months, the rate will go down to 2% and 1% for all other purchases. Rewards can be earned at a maximum of $300 per year and are issued in $50 increments.
